OMEGA’s OMEGALYNX ® wireless products include 100 meter (328') range, Class I Bluetooth TM technology for industrial applications. The OMEGALYNX ® is designed to replace cable and conduit that connect 4-20 mA sensors with the data processing or acquisition systems. The OMEGALYNX ® transmitter collects analog signals from up to four 4-20 mA sensors and transmits the signals wirelessly to the OMEGALYNX ® receiver wired to instrumentation, a PLC, DCS or other systems. OMEGALYNX ® is built upon the Bluetooth TM technology platform, which utilizes a frequency hopping spread spectrum technique within the 2.4 GHz ISM band to ensure a user license-free and secure communication.
