Description
The PH1 series has been discontinued. Please see the HTWT101 series as a possible alternative or contact our Temperature Engineering department.
Ready-to-use pipe heaters are
made of wire-wound circuits
laminated between thin layers
of fiberglass-reinforced, high temperature
insulation, silicone
rubber. Pipe heaters are used
to provide freeze protection and
frozen pipe thawing in a variety of
indoor and outdoor applications.
They are pre-formed in a spiral
configuration for easy and quick
wrapping/unwrapping around
metal pipes. The thermostat end
secures to the pipe with Velcro®
tape, making installation and
deinstallation/re-use also quick
and easy. A built-in, surface
sensing thermostat maintains the
temperature to prevent freezing
or condensation along the pipe.
The thermostat turns on at
temperatures below 4.4°C (40°F)
and turns off at 15.5°C (60°F).
Silicone rubber heaters are
resistant to temperature extremes,
moisture, weathering, radiation,
fungus and chemical attack.
They also have a high dielectric
strength, flexibility, and provide a
cost effective heating solution.
