Description
The FSW811 can be used for detecting the presence of air flow to ensure normal operation of a system (on/off status). When used in an air treatment system, the air flow switch can be setup with an acoustic or optical alarm to alert when a system is shut down. Alternately equipment within a circuit such as a heater or electric valve could be switched on or off. This helps avoid damage to equipment resulting from overheating of vents or pipes, freezing of coils or other applications where damage could occur. Air flow switches can be used for detection in various filtrated air flow installations, such as environmental engineering, central air-conditioning, office buildings, factories and more.
