Description

The OME-PIO-D48U and OME-PEX-D48 provides 48 TTL digital I/O lines and consists of six 8-bit bi-directional ports. The OME-PIO-D48U has one 24-bit digital I/O port that is accessed via the 37-pin D-Sub connector and a second 24-bit digital I/O port that is accessed via the 50-pin flat cable connector. The 8-bit ports on each connector are named port A (PA), port B (PB) and port C (PC).

All ports are configured as inputs upon power-up or reset. The 50-pin header can be connected to a
50-pin flat cable. The flat cable can be connected to OME-ADP-37/PCI or OME-ADP-50/PCI adapter which can be fixed on the computer chassis. The OME-PIO-D48U can be installed in a 3.3 V or 5 V PCI bus and supports true "Plug & Play". The OME-PEX-D48 can be installed in a PCI Express x 1 bus.

Software Development Kit
All boards are supplied with a standard software development kit for Windows XP/Vista/7. The software development kit includes DLL files for programming in C,C++or other high level languages and OCX files for Visual Basic or Active X programming. LabView drivers are also included.
